Scott Rothbort
After spending eight years at Morgan Stanley and Nat West with international assignments in Tokyo, Hong Kong and London, followed by ten years at Merrill Lynch where he managed a derivative trading desk and another six years on international assignments for Morgan Stanley, Scott Rothbort founded LakeView Asset Management, LLC (LVAM) in 2002. LVAM is an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) associated with the Kingswood USA's RIA. LVAM has offices in Henderson, NV and Millburn, NJ. Scott, who wholly owns LVAM, is a recognized expert in the financial services industry and appears frequently on CNBC, Bloomberg TV / Radio, Fox Business Network, i24News and local television, and is often quoted in print and online media such as USA Today and Forbes. Mr. Rothbort was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He received an M.B.A., majoring in Finance and International Business from the Stern School of Business, New York University, in 1992, and a B.S. in Economics, majoring in Accounting, from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, in 1982. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Stuyvesant High School in New York City. Mr. Rothbort is married to Layni Horowitz Rothbort, a real estate attorney and together they have five children. They are residents of Henderson, NV and have other homes in Millburn, NJ and Bolton Landing, NY.
